We’re welcoming a Receptionist Intern who’s ready to gain real-world experience in a professional front desk environment. You’ll start by observing how our team handles day-to-day communication, guest greetings, and basic administrative tasks. You’ll greet visitors, answer basic inquiries, and help direct people to the right person or department. You’ll answer phones, take clear messages, and transfer calls smoothly — even during busy hours. You’ll assist with organizing files, updating spreadsheets, and keeping digital records accurate and secure. You’ll observe how to communicate professionally by email, phone, and in person — and you’ll practice doing it yourself. You’ll use basic tools like Google Calendar, email clients, and spreadsheets — we’ll show you how if it’s new to you. You’ll gain experience using booking systems, shared calendars, and office software like Microsoft Word and Excel. We’ll guide you through best practices in customer service, tone of voice, and how to handle tricky or awkward situations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Update contact lists, internal directories, or company calendars when changes occur.
- Be the first impression people have of the company—and make it a positive one.
- Greet visitors and clients with a friendly smile and professional attitude as they arrive.
- Respond to emails, inquiries, or walk-in questions with accurate information and a helpful tone.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and printing documents as needed.
Preferred:
- Background or interest in administration, hospitality, office management, or communication.
