Description:

We’re hiring a Cleaner Trainee to support hygiene and safety in a healthcare environment, where cleanliness directly impacts patient well-being. You’ll begin by learning daily cleaning routines — from vacuuming carpets to wiping down desks and disinfecting high-touch areas. You’ll assist in operating floor scrubbers, sweepers, and mopping systems designed for commercial spaces. You’ll be trained to handle trash collection from bins throughout the mall and ensure proper disposal at designated zones. You’ll help restock housekeeping carts with cleaning supplies, bottled water, toilet paper, and minibar items. You’ll help restock supplies like soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and waste bags during your rounds. ) and be taught how to remove and replace it safely. You’ll learn how to mop and sanitize floors using hospital-approved cleaning agents and specialized tools. You’ll learn how to spot maintenance issues (like a leaking faucet or broken light) and report them to the supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Restock carts or closets with cleaning materials before and after each shift.
• Handle sensitive areas with extra care, such as medical rooms, computer equipment, or confidential spaces.
• Wear appropriate protective gear like gloves or masks as needed for specific tasks.
• Report any maintenance issues, leaks, or damages to supervisors for prompt repair.
• Keep cleaning tools organized and stored properly when not in use.

Preferred:

• Able to follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistent quality and thoroughness.
• Willing to empty trash bins, restock supplies, and sanitize frequently used items and equipment.
• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, or night shifts depending on site requirements.
• Wants to grow into roles like Head Cleaner, Cleaning Supervisor, or Facility Assistant.
• Understands how to use cleaning products safely, including proper dilution, storage, and labeling.
