Description:

We’re hiring a Call Center Operator to assist clients in the insurance and healthcare sectors — perfect for someone who’s organized, empathetic, and comfortable handling sensitive information with care. You’ll contact potential and existing customers to introduce offers, explain benefits, and guide them through purchase or signup processes. You’ll be trained in medical or insurance terminology, data entry procedures, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations. You’ll be trained to use diagnostic tools, scripts, and knowledge bases to identify and resolve common technical concerns. You’ll record every call with detailed notes, including the issue, resolution steps, and client satisfaction outcome. You’ll stay connected with your team through virtual meetings, chat channels, and support ticket systems. You’ll help educate users on best practices, product features, and how to prevent recurring issues. You’ll stay calm when users are frustrated, keeping your tone professional and your guidance simple and clear. You’ll participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and call reviews to constantly improve your delivery and results.

Basic Qualifications:

• Meet daily or weekly call volume, resolution, and satisfaction targets.
• Attend training sessions, team meetings, or coaching check-ins to improve performance.
• Take pride in being the voice of the company and a key part of the customer experience.
• Use active listening techniques to fully understand caller needs before responding.
• Escalate complex or unresolved cases to supervisors while maintaining professionalism.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working in high-volume call settings while maintaining a calm and helpful tone.
• Experience handling inbound and/or outbound calls in a customer service, support, or sales environment.
• Familiar with call center software, CRM systems, and multi-line phone setups.
• Able to adapt communication style depending on the customer's mood, tone, or language fluency.
• Familiar with call dispositioning and using notes effectively for future customer interactions.
