We’re hiring Paramedic Dispatcher Trainees — no experience needed, just a clear voice, a steady mind, and a deep sense of responsibility. You’ll learn how to operate advanced dispatch software, radio systems, GPS tracking, and real-time resource mapping. We’ll start by teaching you the basics: how to answer calls, what questions to ask, and how to follow clear protocols. You’ll learn how to gather critical information fast: location, condition, situation — without missing a beat. You’ll learn to track ambulances in real time, prioritize incoming calls, and dispatch units with speed and precision. You’ll manage information flow in high-pressure scenarios: accidents, heart failures, seizures, unknowns — and always keep your cool. Your calm voice will become a lifeline for someone in crisis — and we’ll help you find strength in that responsibility. You’ll also be taught how to manage your energy, take breaks when needed, and work in a rhythm that protects your well-being. We’ll teach you how to debrief, reset, and prepare for the next call, even when the last one shook you.

Basic Qualifications:

• Review and update shift logs, resource availability, and contact lists regularly.
• Use empathy and clear language to talk with children, elderly callers, or those in shock.
• Coordinate with paramedics, hospitals, and emergency responders in real-time.
• Determine the severity of the emergency and dispatch the appropriate medical team.
• Provide callers with step-by-step instructions for basic first aid or CPR until help arrives.

Preferred:

• Works well as part of a response team and communicates clearly during handovers or transitions.
• Open to ongoing training in emergency medical dispatch (EMD), CPR instruction, and communication skills.
• Background or interest in emergency services, healthcare, dispatch operations, or crisis communication.
• Experience working in emergency dispatch or call center environments related to healthcare or public safety.
• Committed to continuous performance review and improving response efficiency.
