Description:

We’re hiring an Auto Mechanic who takes pride in fixing things right the first time — and knows that real skill is built on precision and patience. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced technicians, learning everything from oil changes to diagnostics — with time, tools, and real mentorship. You’ll perform oil changes, brake jobs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics with consistency, care, and clear documentation. You’ll be trained by experienced techs who don’t care what you look like — they care how you torque a bolt, run diagnostics, and ask the right questions. You’ll learn how to properly lift a car, torque a bolt, identify worn parts, and know when “good enough” isn’t good enough in a real shop environment. ” You’ll shadow live repairs, help prep vehicles, clean parts, replace filters, change tires, and watch how real diagnostics are done from the bay floor. You’ll practice writing clear notes, communicating with the front desk, and asking for help when something doesn’t look or sound right. You’ll use scanners, manuals, and logic — because good diagnostics isn’t strength, it’s smart thinking and paying attention. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes (safely), and learn the difference between guessing and diagnosing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Diagnose and repair hybrid or EV components if certified, including high-voltage systems and battery packs.
  • Test drive vehicles before and after service to confirm repairs and ensure proper function and performance.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues in passenger vehicles and light trucks using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Follow repair orders, technical manuals, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure accurate and safe vehicle servicing.
  • Ultimately, ensure every vehicle leaves the shop safe, functional, and ready for the road—earning customer trust with every job.

Preferred:

  • Comfortable working on both gas and diesel engines; hybrid or EV experience is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computerized vehicle components.
  • Background or training in automotive repair, technical school, or certified apprenticeship.
  • Can work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced workshop environment.
  • Thrives in hands-on, collaborative work environments with daily variety and challenge.

Benefits:

  • Get recognized for your expertise — no more being overlooked.
  • Job stability in a growing industry — we’re busy year-round, no layoffs here.
  • Employee referral bonuses — if you know a great mechanic, bring them on.
  • Competitive pay that rewards your experience and expertise.
  • Opportunities to advance into senior mechanic or shop management roles.

You’ll gradually be trusted with more — suspension work, diagnostics, even customer test drives if that’s your goal. You’ll start to recognize patterns: noises, wear, common failures — and eventually, you’ll stop needing to ask every time. You’ll gain experience with different makes and models, and learn the unique quirks and common failures that books don’t teach you. You’ll start to feel when a brake pedal is “off,” hear when a belt’s about to go, and know when a customer’s story means more than what’s on the dash. You’ll learn to take responsibility — for the work, the tools, the space, and your own progress — because respect is earned here through consistency. You’ll finish this program with real hands-on experience, a team behind you, and a clear path forward — not just a paycheck. You’ll finish each shift a little smarter, a little stronger, and a lot prouder of what you’re building — skill by skill, bolt by bolt. If you’re serious about learning this craft, respect the shop floor, and want to grow into someone others trust — we’re ready to teach you everything we know.
