We’re looking for a Freelance Resume Writer who knows how to turn someone’s career story into a document that opens doors. You’ll craft resumes that not only list responsibilities but tell compelling, achievement-focused stories. You believe every client has a story worth telling, and you know how to shape that into clean, confident bullet points. We’re looking for someone who can take raw career info and build a narrative that’s clear, confident, and credible. Your words will help clients unlock new roles, higher pay, and better confidence — and that’s powerful. You’ll work with clients via forms, messages, and occasional video calls to gather insights and shape content. You’ll edit ruthlessly, format cleanly, and write with both recruiters and ATS in mind. Tone, voice, and clarity matter — and you know how to adjust them to fit each client’s personality and target role. If you’ve ever reworked someone’s resume just because you couldn’t stand to see them undersell themselves — this is your calling.

Basic Qualifications:

• Coach clients on how to use their new resumes—when to tweak, what to highlight, and how to stand out in applications.
• Translate technical or complex experience into plain, compelling language that resonates with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Manage your own project timelines, client communication, and file delivery like a pro—reliable, respectful, and efficient.
• Edit and restructure outdated resumes, turning messy job lists into strategic, results-oriented narratives.
• Create supporting materials when needed—cover letters, LinkedIn summaries, or brief bios that align with the resume.

Preferred:

• Knows how to write compelling professional summaries and bullet points.
• Familiar with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and how to optimize resumes for keyword matching.
• Able to simplify complex experiences into concise, readable language.
• Keeps up with hiring trends, resume best practices, and evolving job market needs.
• Capable of adapting writing style to match tone — professional, creative, or executive.
