We’re offering a Barista Internship for someone who’s excited to join a coffee-loving team and learn how to serve drinks that brighten people’s day. You’ll help open early — preparing the machines, aligning cups, and making sure everything is stocked and spotless before the morning rush begins. You’ll observe how our team balances precision with warmth — weighing every shot while still greeting every guest by name. You’ll assist in pulling shots, steaming milk, and building drinks that meet the same high standard every time. You’ll help serve everything from flat whites to iced matchas — and discover the little rituals that turn drinks into experiences. You’ll be encouraged to engage with guests — not just take orders, but explain what they’re drinking and why it matters. You’ll be taught the basics of extraction, mouthfeel, and how water temperature affects flavor. You’ll pitch in on restocking shelves, folding to-go bags, and labeling syrups, pastries, or cold brews. You’ll help support daily rituals like cuppings, team calibration, and opening the café with intention and flow.

Basic Qualifications:

• Learn customer names and preferences to build a friendly, community-driven environment.
• Stay calm and friendly during busy hours, managing multiple drink orders at once.
• Take pride in every cup—because for someone, it’s the best part of their day.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based drinks with consistency and care.
• Operate coffee equipment like grinders, espresso machines, and milk steamers safely and efficiently.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Shift Lead, Head Barista, or Café Manager.
• Organized with restocking ingredients, labeling items, and managing inventory for shift readiness.
• Able to stay upbeat and courteous even during high-pressure or repetitive tasks.
• Thrives in fast-paced, customer-focused settings where speed meets craft.
• Able to follow drink recipes accurately while offering speed and consistency during high-volume hours.
