Description:

We’re looking for a talented and creative Content Writer to join our remote team and help produce high-quality, engaging content. You’ll be responsible for writing blog posts, articles, product descriptions, and other content that resonates with our audience. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that attract, inform, and engage our target audience. You’ll conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and audience needs to create relevant and impactful content. You’ll optimize content for search engines, using SEO best practices to ensure high visibility and traffic. You’ll write compelling, shareable content for social media platforms, encouraging engagement and building brand awareness. You’ll assist in writing email campaigns, newsletters, and promotional content to support sales and marketing efforts. You’ll manage multiple content projects at once, ensuring that deadlines are met and quality is maintained. You’ll work closely with designers and other team members to ensure content complements visual elements and provides a cohesive experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with editors, SEO strategists, and designers to align content with overall marketing goals and content calendars.
• Contribute to internal content libraries, templates, or documentation that help streamline future writing tasks.
• Communicate clearly with remote teams—share status updates, flag blockers, and ask clarifying questions early.
• Edit and update older content to keep it relevant and accurate over time (especially for evergreen pieces).
• Use tools like Grammarly, Hemingway, or SurferSEO to refine clarity, structure, and keyword balance.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in journalism, creative writing, digital marketing, or communications.
• Experience writing blog posts, articles, or website copy across various industries.
• Pays attention to grammar, clarity, and sentence variety in long-form content.
• Open to feedback and willing to revise drafts based on editorial direction.
• Keeps up with industry trends and content styles in marketing, tech, or lifestyle niches.
