We’re seeking a Freelance Resume Writer who can turn dull job descriptions into compelling success stories. You understand that a great resume isn’t just a list of jobs — it’s a marketing tool tailored to each opportunity. You know how to distill years of experience into powerful bullet points that recruiters notice instantly. You’ll take raw input — sometimes voice notes, old resumes, or scattered thoughts — and build clean, strategic documents from scratch. Your words will help clients unlock new roles, higher pay, and better confidence — and that’s powerful. Your day might start with a senior executive’s CV and end with a student’s first resume — and you can handle both with ease. You’ll edit ruthlessly, format cleanly, and write with both recruiters and ATS in mind. You’ll manage your own schedule and clients, delivering polished resumes within agreed timelines. You’ll communicate directly with clients, offering insights and revisions that build trust and clarity.

Basic Qualifications:

• Create templates or process docs to streamline intake, drafts, and delivery as your workload grows.
• Respond quickly and professionally to client inquiries, edits, or follow-ups—even if the project’s complete.
• Design clean, modern layouts that enhance readability without overwhelming ATS systems (using Word, Google Docs, Canva, etc.).
• Be flexible—some clients need hand-holding, others just want polish. Meet them where they are.
• Offer packages or upsells (e.g., resume + LinkedIn bundle) to support clients beyond just one document.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to layout, consistency, and design without overcomplicating visuals.
• Can tailor resumes to specific job descriptions and employer expectations.
• Background or interest in HR, recruiting, career coaching, or communications.
• Experience formatting resumes for both creative and corporate industries.
• Has a portfolio or samples showcasing clean, professional resume work.
