Description:

We’re hiring a Warehouse Clerk Trainee who’s ready to learn how to keep a busy warehouse organized, efficient, and running smoothly from the inside out. You’ll begin by supporting the check-in of cargo shipments, matching airway bills to packages, and preparing items for scanning and clearance. You’ll learn how to label, tag, and sort products so that they’re easy to locate and access when needed. You’ll be trained to scan, label, and store items quickly to minimize exposure and maintain cold chain compliance. You’ll be trained on how to handle sensitive cargo such as live animals, perishables, and dangerous goods with precision and care. You’ll help restock shelves and bins after receiving shipments so pickers always have easy access to high-turnover products. You’ll assist in restocking, moving pallets, and rearranging sections to prepare for the next day’s operations. You’ll work within clearly marked zones — chilled, frozen, and ambient — and follow assigned paths to avoid cross-contamination. You’ll participate in quality checks to catch wrong items, damaged goods, or missed SKUs before they leave the building.

Basic Qualifications:

• Take initiative to improve workflow or solve small issues before they escalate.
• Keep warehouse shelves, aisles, and stations organized and free from clutter or safety hazards.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, delivery drivers, and team leads to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow company procedures for handling high-value or sensitive items.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to shelf labeling, stock bin accuracy, and first-in-first-out (FIFO) practices.
• Able to communicate effectively with team members, delivery drivers, and warehouse managers.
• Open to learning warehouse systems, software tools, or RFID tracking if needed by the role.
• Able to restock shelves, count inventory, and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Comfortable lifting boxes, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
