Description:

We’re looking for a proactive Email Marketing Assistant to join our team and assist with creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns. You’ll help write, design, and schedule emails that promote products, events, and brand content to engage our audience. You’ll collaborate with the marketing team to design effective email campaigns that align with overall business objectives. You’ll assist with building and segmenting email lists to target the right audience with personalized content. You’ll help segment email lists to target specific audiences and improve engagement with personalized content. You’ll track email campaign performance, analyzing open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to improve future campaigns. You’ll help create email automation workflows to nurture leads, improve customer retention, and support marketing campaigns. You’ll work with email marketing tools and automation systems to set up and maintain automated email workflows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Participate in team meetings, content planning, and campaign retros to share feedback and learn what’s working.
• Support cross-channel efforts by adapting email content for social media, blog posts, or ads.
• Support the creation, scheduling, and delivery of email campaigns using tools like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ConvertKit, or HubSpot.
• Stay updated with email marketing trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to keep campaigns effective.
• Help brainstorm content ideas for newsletters, promotions, or educational emails that add value beyond selling.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in marketing, digital communication, e-commerce, or copywriting.
• Open to learning how to build drip campaigns and behavior-based automations.
• Understands the basics of GDPR compliance and permission-based email marketing.
• Comfortable using Canva or other tools to design basic banners or visuals for emails.
• Excited to support campaign planning, execution, and ongoing optimization.
