Description:

We’re looking for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk who knows that every check-in sets the tone for a guest’s entire stay. You’ll greet guests like friends, listen with intention, and handle every request with care and calm. You’ll manage reservations, room assignments, and check-ins with a balance of efficiency and genuine hospitality. You’ll check people in and out, manage reservations, answer phones, and handle payments with ease and accuracy. You’ll become an expert in our booking system, knowing how to juggle overbookings, upgrades, and special requests like a pro. Whether it’s a room key that won’t work or a breakfast question at 5 a. Whether it’s printing boarding passes or recommending where to get late-night takeout, you’ll be ready. You’ll maintain a calm, polished front desk even during the rush of weekend arrivals or conference crowds. You’ll coordinate with other departments to make sure rooms are clean, keys work, and special requests are honored. No two shifts will be the same — and you thrive in that energy. You’ll use our property management system like a pro, but your real power is in making people feel cared for.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are clean, available, and guest needs are met.
  • Greet guests with a warm, professional attitude as they arrive—checking them in efficiently and confirming reservation details.
  • Handle guest complaints or service issues politely, escalating to supervisors if necessary to ensure satisfaction.
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and payments using hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds, or PMS systems).
  • Use booking platforms (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb) and POS systems with accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Excited to be part of a team that ensures comfort, satisfaction, and repeat visits.
  • Familiar with local attractions, services, and amenities to assist with guest questions.
  • Background or interest in hospitality, tourism, or customer service.
  • Can collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management for smooth operations.
  • Comfortable managing busy periods with professionalism and calm multitasking.
