Description:

We’re hiring a Hairdresser who treats every appointment as a collaboration — someone who listens closely, works skillfully, and respects that each client has their own story and style. You’ll provide a full range of salon services, including precision cuts, creative color, blowouts, and special occasion styling. You’ll start each service with a personalized consultation, listening carefully and offering expert advice based on hair type and lifestyle. You’ll perform color applications including highlights, balayage, toning, and root touch-ups with precision and care. You’ll be responsible for maintaining your station, sterilizing tools, and keeping the environment clean and welcoming for all guests. You’ll stay current on new trends and professional products, experimenting with styles that keep your work modern and exciting. You’ll maintain a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization at your station. You’ll take before-and-after photos (with permission) and help us showcase the great work you do on social media or in-salon displays. You’ll build relationships with regulars and make newcomers feel instantly comfortable and welcome.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay up to date with current hair trends, styles, and techniques through training or social platforms.
• Color, bleach, highlight, or tone hair while maintaining hair health and achieving the right shade.
• Respect client preferences while gently guiding them when a style may not work as imagined.
• Style hair using blow dryers, straighteners, curlers, and products for everyday or special occasions.
• Promote new services, loyalty programs, or seasonal offers to boost client engagement.

Preferred:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and friendly demeanor.
• Comfortable providing consultations and understanding client needs before beginning a service.
• Thrives in energetic, creative spaces where skills, trends, and client care come together.
• Open to training in new techniques, certifications, or brand-specific product lines.
• Pays attention to detail when creating precise lines, layers, or custom looks.
