Description:

We’re hiring a Factory Operator to support our food production line — perfect for someone who’s attentive, quick on their feet, and committed to quality and cleanliness. You’ll operate machinery in accordance with daily production plans, adjusting settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. You’ll assist in loading raw metal stock, adjusting machine settings, and aligning materials for accurate processing. You’ll be responsible for starting and stopping machines, monitoring output, and adjusting settings to meet daily targets. You’ll perform regular quality checks — inspecting products for defects, alignment, and labeling accuracy. You’ll document machine output, downtime, and quality control data in digital systems as part of production tracking. You’ll inspect finished parts for surface quality, structural integrity, and adherence to specifications. You’ll rotate between production, inspection, and packing stations depending on line needs and staffing. You’ll coordinate with maintenance staff to report mechanical issues and assist in minor troubleshooting or resets.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, dies, or molds used in manufacturing.
• Comply with factory safety policies, including the use of PPE like gloves, goggles, or ear protection.
• Package, label, or stack finished goods for storage or shipping as instructed.
• Conduct visual inspections of products for defects, damage, or irregularities before approval.
• Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or inconsistencies in product quality.

Preferred:

• Team-oriented and capable of communicating clearly with supervisors and coworkers during handovers.
• Willing to cross-train on different machines or departments to support flexible production needs.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, assembly line, or industrial production environment.
• Open to learning how to operate new machines, follow new product specs, or apply lean manufacturing principles.
• Comfortable meeting production quotas and efficiency targets while maintaining product quality.

You’ll help resolve minor mechanical jams and notify maintenance teams of any equipment concerns. You’ll participate in safety drills, team briefings, and scheduled training even if your shift occurs during non-standard hours. You’ll assist with allergen management by following changeover procedures and ingredient separation rules. You’ll attend regular safety briefings, team huddles, and training updates to stay aligned with operational standards. You’ll contribute ideas for process improvement and equipment optimization during team meetings or audits. You’ll be expected to stand, move, and focus for long shifts — often around moving parts and loud environments. Prior experience in metalwork or industrial machinery is a strong plus, but not required if you’re physically ready and willing to learn.
