Description:

We’re looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You’ll be responsible for executing manual tests, identifying issues, and collaborating with developers to resolve them. You’ll assist in creating detailed test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of new features and existing functionality. You’ll perform a variety of tests, including functional, regression, and system integration, to ensure software performance. You’ll report bugs and issues, providing detailed steps to reproduce and working with the development team to address them. You’ll track defects using bug tracking tools, maintaining accurate records of identified issues and their resolutions. You’ll assist in maintaining test environments and ensure testing tools and scripts are up-to-date. You’ll stay current with industry best practices and testing methodologies, continuously improving your skills and approach.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help write and maintain documentation for test cases, QA processes, and known issues.
• Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) processes by assisting stakeholders and gathering their feedback effectively.
• Use browser dev tools to inspect elements, console errors, and network requests when troubleshooting issues.
• Be proactive in learning from senior QA engineers, documentation, or courses—your skillset will grow with every sprint.
• Run regression tests during sprints and after deployments to ensure existing functionality isn’t broken.

Preferred:

• Organized in tracking test results, reporting progress, and managing deadlines.
• Experience using tools like Jira, TestRail, or Trello to log and track issues.
• Pays close attention to details and enjoys finding inconsistencies or edge cases.
• Willing to learn about test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Can follow test plans and checklists to ensure features meet requirements.

You’ll participate in team meetings, collaborating with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure quality delivery.
