Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee who’s excited about building clean, responsive, and accessible web interfaces — no experience required, just solid HTML/CSS skills and a willingness to grow. You’ll start by turning static layouts into flexible, mobile-first designs that work across all screen sizes and browsers. We’ll teach you how to structure semantic HTML, write scalable CSS, and use media queries with intention and clarity. You’ll work with real designers to implement layouts that adapt beautifully — from wide desktops to tiny phones. You’ll learn how to build grid systems, use flexbox effectively, and avoid layout hacks that break in production. We’ll guide you through accessibility principles so your animations enhance experience without hurting usability. You’ll also learn how to keep animations lightweight and performance-friendly, even on mobile or low-end devices. You’ll gain experience working in structured codebases, committing with clarity, and following branching and review workflows. You’ll also learn how to use tools like Vite, ESLint, Prettier, and how to debug like a real dev (not just refresh endlessly).

Basic Qualifications:

• Participate in sprint planning, retros, and design reviews when invited.
• Work with tools like Vite, Webpack, or Next.js if the stack calls for it.
• Write clean, readable code and keep it consistent with the team’s style guide.
• Help QA teammates and respond quickly to reported bugs or UI issues.
• Collaborate with designers and backend devs to bring features to life smoothly.

Preferred:

• Knows basic accessibility (a11y) standards and best practices (e.g. keyboard navigation, ARIA).
• Familiar with basic testing practices such as unit tests, snapshot tests, or manual test plans.
• Comfortable working with backend developers to integrate frontend with APIs and auth flows.
• Comfortable working with design systems or translating Figma/Sketch mockups into code.
• Values clean code, reusability, and continuous learning in a technical role.
