Description:

We’re searching for a WordPress Assistant who can juggle plugins, tweak themes, and keep content looking sharp without missing a beat. You don’t need to be a developer, but you know how to handle the day-to-day WordPress tasks that keep a site running smoothly — from updating text and images to installing plugins and adjusting page layouts with a visual builder. You’ve probably used Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders, and you know how to make edits without breaking the design. You’re comfortable using page builders like Elementor or WPBakery, and you know how to make things look good without overcomplicating the backend. You know the importance of clean formatting, image optimization, and mobile responsiveness, and you have a good eye for catching small mistakes that others miss. You understand the value of keeping plugins updated, themes organized, and the media library free of chaos.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support SEO efforts by optimizing on-page elements like alt text, meta descriptions, permalinks, and heading structure.
• Monitor site speed and help implement optimizations like lazy loading, minified assets, and caching strategies.
• Manage user roles, comments, and spam filtering so the backend stays organized and under control.
• Participate in QA and review processes before new features or designs are pushed live.
• Be ready to jump in for small urgent tasks—fixing a typo, updating a banner, or swapping out a broken link.

Preferred:

• Experience editing content, pages, or blog posts within the WordPress dashboard.
• Can assist with uploading products, managing WooCommerce listings, or organizing pages.
• Able to maintain brand consistency when uploading or editing visual assets.
• Pays attention to SEO basics using tools like Yoast SEO or Rank Math.
• Follows instructions carefully and documents changes when editing live sites.
