Description:

We’re looking for a Cashier who’s ready to start their journey in retail — no prior experience required, just a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a friendly approach to every customer interaction. You’ll greet each customer with a smile, process their purchases quickly and accurately, and thank them sincerely for their visit. You’ll operate the register, process payments, and handle coupons, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. You’ll greet customers warmly, answer basic product or store questions, and make sure they leave feeling appreciated. You’ll assist with bagging items, answering product questions, and helping direct customers if they need support in other departments. You’ll follow proper cash handling procedures, maintain register accuracy, and alert supervisors if issues arise. You’ll be part of a supportive team where asking questions is encouraged and helping each other is part of the daily routine. You’ll alert supervisors to register issues, pricing inconsistencies, or anything that might slow the flow of service. You’ll take part in opening and closing routines, counting drawers and preparing deposits when required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Communicate clearly with supervisors if issues or unusual transactions arise.
• Monitor checkout lines and help speed up the process during rush hours.
• Greet customers warmly and process purchases quickly and accurately at the register.
• Take initiative to tidy your area during slow times or lend a hand elsewhere.
• Notice when customers need help and offer assistance, even if they don’t ask.

Preferred:

• Knows how to balance a till, count cash drawers, and follow proper cash-handling procedures.
• Open to performing price checks, issuing refunds, or processing store credit as needed.
• Willing to help de-escalate conflicts calmly and refer customers to supervisors when needed.
• Willing to assist with curbside pickup, online order processing, or express lanes if required.
• Willing to help with restocking near registers, merchandising impulse buys, or monitoring front-end cleanliness.
