Description:

We’re hiring a UX/UI Designer Trainee to help us design landing pages and marketing sites — no experience required, just a sense of layout, structure, and clarity in visual communication. You’ll work alongside product designers and researchers to understand real user behavior and turn insights into better interfaces. We’ll teach you how to use Figma like a pro: components, auto layout, grids, and prototyping. You’ll work with product managers and developers to turn raw ideas into wireframes, mockups, and simple prototypes. We’ll guide you through the logic behind grids, padding, icon size, interaction states, and how to design with reuse in mind. We’ll show you how to ask the right questions, observe behavior, and avoid assumptions in your design process. Expect to update buttons, fix corner radii, improve hover states, and help teams keep everything unified across pages and platforms. You’ll also contribute to building usage guidelines, example layouts, and internal resources that improve speed and clarity for everyone. We’ll show you how to stay lightweight in your process: rapid iterations, lo-fi testing, and clear design decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Design intuitive, accessible, and visually pleasing user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
• Use user personas, journey maps, and other tools to design with empathy.
• Organize design files clearly so other team members (or future you) can pick up where you left off.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate assumptions and improve designs.
• Celebrate good UX moments, learn from the bad ones, and keep improving the craft.

Preferred:

• Can deliver clear specs and assets to developers and support implementation feedback loops.
• Understands user-centered design principles and can apply them to web, mobile, or software products.
• Experience working on real-world products, case studies, or freelance/agency design briefs.
• Able to collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers in agile teams.
• Understands the importance of consistent branding, typography, and iconography across screens.
