Description:

We’re hiring a Cashier who understands that the final impression matters just as much as the first — someone who’s friendly, focused, and ready to make every checkout smooth and positive. You’ll be the first and last interaction many customers have with us, so your role sets the tone and leaves a lasting impression. You’ll operate the cash register, handle cash, cards, mobile payments, and give correct change with confidence and care. You’ll keep your workspace clean, your drawer balanced, and your attention sharp from open to close. You’ll assist with returns and exchanges, following store policies and resolving issues calmly and fairly. You’ll be taught how to handle common issues, like price checks or coupon questions, with patience and professionalism. You’ll stay cool during rushes, multitasking smoothly and always offering a thank-you with a smile. You’ll be part of a team that values communication, teamwork, and keeping lines moving efficiently without making anyone feel rushed. You’ll take part in opening and closing routines, counting drawers and preparing deposits when required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Take initiative to tidy your area during slow times or lend a hand elsewhere.
• Balance friendliness with efficiency—be fast, but never rude or robotic.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene guidelines—especially when handling food or sanitizing equipment.
• Call for supervisor assistance when larger issues or overrides are needed.
• Support coworkers when needed, whether it's stocking shelves or helping with cleanup.

Preferred:

• Willing to answer product-related questions or direct customers to the right department.
• Comfortable standing for long shifts and working weekends, holidays, or closing hours.
• Willing to assist with curbside pickup, online order processing, or express lanes if required.
• Familiar with basic customer service practices, upselling techniques, and store policies.
• Can quickly learn and adapt to new store systems, scanners, or payment technologies.
