Description:
We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester to help us deliver smooth, bug-free mobile experiences — someone who tests like a real user, spots flaws early, and understands that small glitches can ruin big moments. You’ll be responsible for executing manual test cases, documenting bugs, and verifying fixes across web, mobile, or desktop platforms. You’ll execute structured test cases, but also think freely to test the weird, the unexpected, and the forgotten corners of the product. You’ll report bugs with precision: what happened, where, how often, and why it matters — so developers can fix quickly and clearly. You’ll work alongside developers and designers to understand product logic and identify edge cases they might miss. You’ll participate in daily standups and sprint planning to stay aligned with upcoming releases and testing timelines. You’ll verify fixes in new builds, test in staging environments, and run regression checks before releases go live. We’ll teach you how to prioritize severity, escalate issues effectively, and balance speed with thoroughness. You’ll test across multiple builds, log environments, and work within sprint cycles to deliver fast, stable releases. You’ll test across platforms and devices, depending on the product — desktop, mobile, browsers, or hardware if needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- Report blockers and critical issues quickly—your alert can prevent a broken release.
- Stay calm and focused when deadlines are tight or builds are buggy—you're the safety net.
- Be the voice of the user—flag anything confusing, broken, or just frustrating.
- Write clear, respectful bug reports that help, not blame.
- Perform exploratory testing to find unexpected behaviors or edge-case bugs.
Preferred:
- Can test for usability, accessibility, performance, and compatibility as needed by the project.
- Background or interest in software quality, product testing, or digital product development.
- Thrives in fast-paced, iterative teams that ship frequently and improve continuously.
- Experience performing manual testing on web, mobile, or desktop applications across different platforms and browsers.
- Able to test features independently while also contributing to team-wide QA coverage.
Benefits:
- You’ll help prevent disasters before they hit production — hero mode unlocked.
- Real career paths: senior QA, product QA, QA lead — you choose.
- When the product works flawlessly — we know *who* made that happen.
- Mentorship from experienced testers who’ve survived the chaos before you.
- We don’t blame testers — we fix things together.
We’ll guide you in logging and prioritizing issues by severity, frequency, and user impact. This role is ideal for someone who values structure, takes pride in clear reporting, and has a sharp eye for patterns. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys breaking things (gently), thinking like a user, and staying two steps ahead of bugs. You don’t need to be technical, but you do need to be organized, curious, and excellent at spotting small issues before they become big ones. We’ll support you with onboarding, tools, mentorship, and opportunities to grow into more advanced QA or product roles. You’ll get the satisfaction of improving product quality every day — and being the last line of defense before users see it. If you care about the little things that make a big difference — and want to be part of building something users trust — we’d love to have you on the QA team. By the end of your first release cycle, you’ll be trusted, respected, and irreplaceable on the QA team. If you believe quality is in the details — and you know where to look — we’re ready for you to test with us.
