Description:

We’re on the lookout for a remote Etsy Shop Manager who understands the blend of creativity, commerce, and customer care that drives success on the platform. You’ll take full ownership of the shop’s daily operations — from uploading new items to ensuring customers get what they ordered on time. You know that great product photos and keyword-rich titles make all the difference on Etsy — and you’re ready to optimize both. You know how to work with Etsy’s algorithm, from using high-impact tags to crafting titles that rank and convert. You’ll handle customer support with patience and professionalism, making sure every buyer feels heard and supported. You’re someone who loves turning messy backlogs into organized workflows and clear to-do lists. You’ll be our first line of communication with customers — solving problems, answering questions, and building loyalty. You’re not afraid of spreadsheets, and you understand how to use data to drive decisions and test new ideas. Your organizational skills keep everything running behind the scenes, from inventory to restock alerts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respond promptly to Etsy notifications—orders, disputes, questions—so no message goes unanswered or delayed.
• Write or update FAQs, store policies, and message templates for consistency and efficiency.
• Research competitors and successful shops to stay ahead of trends and identify opportunities to improve visibility and conversions.
• Track shop performance using Etsy analytics—adjust pricing, keywords, and strategies based on data, trends, and customer behavior.
• Continuously improve—test new product types, niches, or formats based on market demand and shop analytics.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using tools like Canva, Lightroom, or Photoshop for product imagery.
• Understands how to list products effectively with appealing photos and clear details.
• Has experience tracking analytics like visits, conversion rate, and revenue trends.
• Understands the importance of keywords, categories, and market trends for visibility.
• Can support digital product shops, handmade businesses, or print-on-demand operations.

You’re familiar with tags, categories, and Etsy’s algorithm — or excited to learn and master them. Experience with Etsy SEO, mockup generation, and even Canva is a huge plus. You’ll also keep tabs on competitors, trends, and best practices to keep our shop ahead of the curve. You’re motivated, independent, and able to manage your own deadlines without constant oversight. You’re fluent in digital tools like Canva, spreadsheets, and task managers to stay organized and productive. You’re comfortable working async but know how to stay aligned with the rest of the team when it counts.
