Description:

We’re hiring Firefighter Trainees — not because we need heroes, but because we believe in ordinary people rising to do extraordinary things. You’ll begin training to handle fire, disaster, and medical emergencies with courage and clarity. From day one, you’ll be treated like part of the crew — expected to show up, work hard, and have your teammate’s back. You’ll build the mindset to stay focused in fear, calm in crisis, and strong when others feel helpless. You’ll also develop soft skills — communication, leadership, and the ability to reassure people when they’re at their worst.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be ready to work long, irregular shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Work in extreme environments: smoke, heat, confined spaces, or high altitudes.
• Evacuate civilians from dangerous areas and provide basic first aid when needed.
• Engage with the local community through fire safety talks and school visits.
• Represent integrity, courage, and public service both on and off the job.

Preferred:

• Trained in first aid, CPR, and basic life support; EMT certification is a plus.
• Willing to represent the fire department with professionalism and integrity at all times.
• Willing to work 24-hour shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends as part of a rotation.
• Can perform routine firehouse duties including equipment checks, cleaning, and training drills.
• Familiar with operating and maintaining fire trucks, pumps, and rescue equipment.
