Description:

We’re hiring a Remote Onboarding Specialist who can make starting a new job feel like joining a community — not just a company. You believe the first week at a company should be exciting, not confusing. Whether it's prepping equipment shipments or coordinating intro calls, you’ll handle it all with care and clarity. You’ll coordinate training schedules, send out access credentials, and make sure no one’s stuck waiting on IT. This role is about empathy, clarity, and smooth communication across time zones and departments. Think of yourself as the host of a virtual welcome party — making sure everyone feels seen, heard, and set up for success. You’ll refine onboarding materials to make them more intuitive, engaging, and accessible. You’ll partner with different departments to align onboarding with real-world workflows and expectations. We want someone who can look at a spreadsheet and see the story behind it — who’s joining, what they need, and how we support them best.

Basic Qualifications:

• Facilitate async onboarding options (videos, docs, checklists) for self-paced learning across time zones.
• Support global or remote-first teams by adjusting onboarding flows based on time zones, roles, or contract types.
• Help with offboarding as well when needed—graceful exits matter as much as smooth entries.
• Schedule team introductions, mentorship pairings, or social calls to help new hires connect and build relationships quickly.
• Identify roadblocks or bottlenecks in the onboarding flow and work with relevant teams to fix them.

Preferred:

• Able to answer common questions about company policies, systems, or benefits.
• Understands the importance of first impressions and a smooth start for new employees.
• Experience guiding new hires or clients through onboarding processes remotely.
• Can coordinate between HR, IT, and team leads to ensure everything is ready on day one.
• Knows how to track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding items.
