Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated and accurate Transcriptionist to join our remote team and provide high-quality transcription services. You’ll transcribe interviews, webinars, lectures, and other media, ensuring every word is captured with precision. You’ll ensure every transcription is clear, well-structured, and includes accurate timestamps, speaker identification, and necessary formatting. You’ll ensure your transcriptions meet company standards, including accurate timestamps, speaker identification, and adherence to formatting guidelines. You’ll handle confidential and sensitive information, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion at all times. Basic Qualifications:

• Work independently in a remote setting—balancing focus, typing speed, and attention to detail under minimal supervision.
• Transcribe a variety of materials including interviews, podcasts, meetings, lectures, webinars, and legal or medical recordings.
• Handle rush orders or urgent transcription requests while still meeting quality expectations.
• Follow legal or medical terminology guidelines (if specialized) and verify technical terms through research when necessary.
• Stay current with transcription tools, keyboard shortcuts, and productivity techniques to increase output without losing accuracy.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like QA Transcription Reviewer, Caption Editor, or Documentation Specialist.
• Understands how to properly format transcripts for readability and consistency.
• Can transcribe in English fluently; other language skills are a bonus.
• Familiar with confidentiality standards and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Able to distinguish between multiple speakers and add appropriate labels or timestamps.
