Description:

We’re looking for a Warehouse Clerk Trainee to join our night shift team — ideal for someone who values quiet focus, steady work, and getting things done while the world sleeps. You’ll start by helping sort incoming inventory, scanning barcodes, and updating stock levels in the digital system. You’ll learn how to pick items for customer orders using handheld devices and packing slips. You’ll be trained to scan, label, and store items quickly to minimize exposure and maintain cold chain compliance. You’ll be trained to follow clear routines — organizing bins, labeling shelves, and keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. You’ll assist with preparing outgoing orders — picking items, packing boxes, and printing shipping labels accurately. You’ll learn how to inspect products for damage, expiration, or mismatch before they’re stored or shipped. You’ll work within clearly marked zones — chilled, frozen, and ambient — and follow assigned paths to avoid cross-contamination. You’ll gain experience working with automated systems, handheld scanners, and label printers — all in a calm, paced setting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work closely with other warehouse staff to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, delivery drivers, and team leads to ensure smooth operations.
• Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks, scanners, or handheld inventory tools.
• Use inventory management systems to log incoming/outgoing goods and update stock levels.
• Take initiative to improve workflow or solve small issues before they escalate.

Preferred:

• Able to restock shelves, count inventory, and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Thrives in structured, task-driven settings where efficiency and consistency matter.
• Enjoys organizing goods, supporting shipments, and contributing to smooth warehouse flow.
• Comfortable lifting boxes, standing for extended periods, and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with using pallet jacks, dollies, or forklifts (if certified) to move stock safely.

You’ll help track packaging supply levels like tape, boxes, and labels — and restock them when running low. You’ll help load and stage outbound orders for refrigerated trucks with attention to timing and temperature requirements.
