Description:
We’re hiring an Entry-Level Auto Mechanic who may not have all the experience yet, but brings the mindset, motivation, and hands-on curiosity to grow into a great one. You’ll work on a wide range of vehicles — from diagnostics and routine maintenance to complex repairs and full overhauls. You’ll perform oil changes, brake jobs, suspension work, and engine diagnostics with consistency, care, and clear documentation. You’ll be trained by experienced techs who don’t care what you look like — they care how you torque a bolt, run diagnostics, and ask the right questions. You’ll learn how to listen to a vehicle, identify symptoms, and think like a technician — not just follow steps, but understand the “why. ” You’ll learn how to lift safely, use tools properly, identify wear, and catch early warning signs — the stuff that makes a mechanic valuable, not replaceable. You’ll practice writing clear notes, communicating with the front desk, and asking for help when something doesn’t look or sound right. You’ll learn the habits that make great mechanics: staying organized, checking your work, communicating clearly, and respecting safety at all times. You’ll be encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes (safely), and learn the difference between guessing and diagnosing.
Basic Qualifications:
- Monitor for recurring issues or recall-related problems and notify customers or service writers accordingly.
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized in compliance with OSHA and shop safety protocols.
- Follow repair orders, technical manuals, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure accurate and safe vehicle servicing.
- Respect customer property—using protective covers, floor mats, and returning vehicles in clean, working condition.
- Diagnose and repair hybrid or EV components if certified, including high-voltage systems and battery packs.
Preferred:
- Can complete test drives, emissions checks, or post-repair inspections confidently.
- Open to learning new diagnostic tools and repair procedures as technology evolves.
- Enjoys problem-solving and working with their hands to keep vehicles running reliably.
- Able to perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks accurately.
- Willing to maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and personal workstation.
Benefits:
- Job stability in a growing industry — we’re busy year-round, no layoffs here.
- Supportive management — your voice is heard, and your work is valued.
- A chance to make a real difference in people’s lives — one car at a time.
- A tool allowance and discounts on parts — because we want you to have the best gear.
- Get your hands dirty doing what you love — fixing cars, not pushing papers.
You’ll be given feedback after every stage — not to criticize, but to sharpen, guide, and help you build confidence in what you do. You’ll be encouraged to take your time, double-check your work, and speak up when something doesn’t feel right — and we’ll back you for it. You’ll gain experience with different makes and models, and learn the unique quirks and common failures that books don’t teach you. You’ll start to feel when a brake pedal is “off,” hear when a belt’s about to go, and know when a customer’s story means more than what’s on the dash. You’ll learn to take responsibility — for the work, the tools, the space, and your own progress — because respect is earned here through consistency. You’ll be given chances to get certified, learn new systems, and eventually move from helper to lead tech as your skills and confidence grow. You’ll finish each shift a little smarter, a little stronger, and a lot prouder of what you’re building — skill by skill, bolt by bolt. If you’re ready to rebuild more than just engines — and want a trade you can truly own — we’re ready to teach you from the ground up.
