Description:

We’re looking for a Cleaner Trainee to help keep our office spaces clean, organized, and ready for a productive day. You’ll begin by learning how to clean hotel rooms efficiently — making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, and wiping all surfaces. You’ll assist in disinfecting surfaces such as beds, examination tables, door handles, and medical equipment covers. You’ll be trained on how to clean screens, keyboards, and office equipment carefully without damaging sensitive surfaces. You’ll help tidy meeting rooms, refill hygiene supplies, and prepare common areas like kitchens and restrooms. You’ll support floor care by sweeping, mopping, and spot-cleaning spills, making sure all areas are safe and dry. You’ll learn to follow a checklist to ensure no detail is missed — from light switches to door handles and windowsills. You’ll be responsible for using the right cleaning products on specific materials like glass, wood, and electronics. You’ll learn how to spot maintenance issues (like a leaking faucet or broken light) and report them to the supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep cleaning tools organized and stored properly when not in use.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste following health and safety regulations.
• Restock carts or closets with cleaning materials before and after each shift.
• Follow health, fire, and safety regulations in every aspect of your duties.
• Support a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for staff, visitors, and clients.

Preferred:

• Able to handle cleaning tasks in a variety of environments such as offices, schools, hospitals, or hotels.
• Understands how to use cleaning products safely, including proper dilution, storage, and labeling.
• Open to training in new cleaning methods or eco-friendly products and equipment.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a janitorial or housekeeping team.
• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings, weekends, or night shifts depending on site requirements.
