Description:

We’re looking for a Junior Data Analyst (Remote) who’s excited about turning messy datasets into meaningful insights and loves asking, “What does this really tell us? ” You’ll support the analytics team by gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to help teams make smarter, faster decisions. You’ll dive into spreadsheets, write basic SQL queries, and assist with maintaining dashboards that track key business metrics. You’ll help build dashboards, generate reports, and spot trends that others might miss, making complex data more accessible to non-technical teammates. You’ll assist in creating recurring reports, troubleshooting anomalies, and maintaining data accuracy across dashboards and internal tools. You’re the type who triple-checks formulas, labels charts clearly, and takes pride in delivering clean, reliable work.

Basic Qualifications:

• Grow fast by listening, practicing, and contributing ideas even if you're new.
• Assist in building slide decks or presentations to summarize key insights for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, or operations teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Help define and track KPIs for various departments, keeping dashboards updated and relevant.
• Review data documentation and help improve it when something’s unclear or outdated.

Preferred:

• Keeps up with trends in BI tools, data automation, and industry use cases.
• Understands the importance of data accuracy, integrity, and privacy.
• Pays close attention to details and double-checks their work before submitting.
• Organized and methodical when handling multiple data sets or requests.
• Currently studying or has background in statistics, economics, computer science, or related fields.
