Description:

We’re hiring a Musician / Composer Trainee to help us create original soundtracks, jingles, and background scores — no experience needed, just musical passion and a good ear. You’ll assist in composing melodies, background scores, sound cues, and short audio loops for digital content, ads, or video games. We’ll help you understand the basics of musical structure, mood building, and thematic development. You’ll explore different genres and learn how to adapt your style to meet the tone of various projects. You’ll work on real projects, contributing to podcast intros, video game soundtracks, social media clips, or branded content. You’ll gain hands-on experience with DAWs like Logic Pro, FL Studio, or Ableton, depending on your preferences. We’ll introduce you to royalty-free libraries, licensing basics, and the do’s and don’ts of public audio usage. Expect to collaborate often, adjust fast, and grow confident in a fast-moving creative environment. Expect to work with software like Cubase, GarageBand, or Reaper — no worries if you’ve never used them, we’ll show you how.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt musical pieces to fit timing constraints, dialogue, or scene transitions.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, or clients to understand the desired mood, tone, and pacing.
• Experiment with styles, genres, and tools to keep your sound evolving and fresh.
• Record high-quality audio using DAWs and equipment suited to the genre and setting.
• Keep refining your craft—great musicians never stop learning or listening.

Preferred:

• Pays attention to emotional tone, pacing, and atmosphere in musical storytelling.
• Willing to edit, revise, or re-orchestrate compositions based on feedback or changing needs.
• Comfortable arranging music for solo, ensemble, or orchestral formats depending on project scope.
• Able to read and write sheet music or create MIDI-based compositions with professional sound libraries.
• Comfortable creating loopable background scores or one-off highlight cues as needed.
