Description:

We’re looking for a Video Editing Intern who lives inside the For You Page, watches YouTube Shorts before bed, and knows how to cut fast and scroll-stopping content. You’ll assist with editing episodes, formatting timelines, adding lower thirds, and making dialogue feel tighter and cleaner without losing flow. You won’t be buried in theory — you’ll be editing real projects from week one, with guidance and feedback along the way. You’ll learn how to punch in on faces, cut out dead space, and stack visuals to keep the energy high. You’ll help manage video assets across multiple clients — naming files properly, keeping folders clean, and making re-edits painless. You’ll organize footage, sync audio, clean color, and add motion or music that elevates, not distracts. You’ll learn to color correct, mix audio, apply transitions (without overdoing it), and export for different platforms. You’ll help brainstorm angles, titles, first lines, and swipe-worthy thumbnails that boost engagement. You’ll create multiple versions for different platforms — 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok, 1:1 for Instagram, you get the idea. Would I share this?

Basic Qualifications:

• Transcode and compress files for upload without compromising visual or audio quality.
• Apply basic VFX or animations as needed to bring concepts to life and hold audience attention.
• Add motion graphics, titles, sound effects, background music, and color correction to enhance visual quality and viewer experience.
• Ultimately, transform footage into compelling stories that resonate with viewers, support brand goals, and stand out in the feed.
• Follow copyright and licensing rules when using music, stock footage, or branded content.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Senior Editor, Motion Designer, or Creative Producer.
• Able to collaborate with content creators, marketers, or creative directors.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative creative environment.
• Able to produce video variants for A/B testing, localization, or platform-specific goals.
• Comfortable working with footage, graphics, music, and voiceovers to complete polished videos.
