Description:

We’re looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our remote team and help produce visually stunning content. You’ll be responsible for editing footage, creating dynamic video sequences, and adding special effects to enhance the viewer experience. You’ll collaborate with the content team to develop ideas and implement creative strategies to meet business and marketing objectives. You’ll add creative effects, transitions, audio, and graphics to enhance the overall quality and impact of the video content. You’ll ensure all videos are properly color corrected, audio is clear, and the final product meets professional standards. You’ll help incorporate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance the quality of the video and the viewer’s experience. You’ll ensure videos are optimized for each platform, from YouTube to Instagram, tailoring content to each audience’s preferences. You’ll manage multiple video editing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Color-correct, audio-balance, and export videos in platform-specific formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).
• Deliver on time, communicate clearly, and own your workflow independently in a remote setting.
• Follow brand guidelines (fonts, colors, tone) while leaving room for flair and experimentation.
• Provide rough cuts, versions, and final renders with clear communication on what’s included and what needs review.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for YouTube, social media, ads, and product explainers—aligned with brand tone and audience.

Preferred:

• Comfortable syncing audio, adding subtitles, and applying effects or color correction.
• Thrives in a remote-first, creative, and feedback-friendly team environment.
• Enjoys telling stories through visuals and crafting emotionally resonant edits.
• Knows how to cut raw footage into polished, platform-ready content efficiently.
• Comfortable working with vertical and horizontal formats across multiple platforms.
