Description:

We’re hiring a diligent Game Tester to join our team and help ensure our games meet the highest quality standards before release. You’ll be responsible for testing a wide range of game features, including gameplay mechanics, levels, multiplayer modes, and more. You’ll play through various levels of the game, providing detailed feedback on gameplay, mechanics, and overall user experience. You’ll work closely with the development team to report issues, prioritize them, and track fixes through to completion. You’ll provide feedback on game flow, level design, and user interface, helping to improve the overall gaming experience. You’ll verify the game’s compatibility across different devices and platforms, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for all users. You’ll test the game’s performance under different conditions, such as various network speeds, device configurations, and player interactions. You’ll assist in performance testing, evaluating the game’s load times, frame rates, and overall performance under different conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be flexible and ready to test different genres, mechanics, or platforms depending on the project.
• Work with version control and development builds, updating test results and tracking changes across versions.
• Test under different hardware conditions, settings, resolutions, and network environments to identify performance bottlenecks or compatibility issues.
• Stay up to date with platform-specific certification requirements (e.g., Xbox, PlayStation, iOS, Google Play) to support compliance testing.
• Be patient and persistent—some bugs are rare and require repetition or creativity to uncover.

Preferred:

• Able to play for long periods with focus and provide constructive feedback.
• Familiar with tools like Jira, TestRail, or internal bug tracking systems is a plus.
• Comfortable following detailed test plans and documenting results accurately.
• Can differentiate between minor annoyances and game-breaking issues.
• Background or strong interest in game development, QA, or digital product testing.
