Description:

We’re hiring a Courier Trainee who’s reliable, punctual, and ready to learn how to deliver items safely, quickly, and with a professional attitude. You’ll begin by supporting experienced couriers with loading routes, securing cargo, and checking paperwork before departure. You’ll learn how to plan multi-stop routes, factoring in rest breaks, fuel, traffic, and deadlines. You’ll learn how to move quickly and respectfully through reception areas, elevators, and security checkpoints. You’ll learn how to communicate clearly with customers and dispatch — especially if there’s traffic, weather issues, or delivery complications. You’ll be taught how to handle fragile, high-value, or time-sensitive packages with extra security and attention. You’ll be taught how to store and handle packages to avoid damage during long trips or changing weather conditions. You’ll learn to handle customer interactions politely — whether delivering to a receptionist, security gate, or private residence. You’ll gain experience in handling fragile, urgent, or sensitive deliveries with extra care and attention.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle items with care, especially fragile, time-sensitive, or confidential materials.
• Maintain a neat, presentable appearance—you're a representative of the company on every stop.
• Report vehicle issues, delivery problems, or incidents to supervisors as needed.
• Keep delivery logs updated and submit paperwork or electronic forms at the end of each shift.
• Respect customers’ property and privacy while on-site for pickups or drop-offs.

Preferred:

• Can follow instructions from dispatchers, apps, or printed routes without getting overwhelmed.
• Willing to assist with basic customer service, answer questions politely, and report delivery issues quickly.
• Understands safety practices for road use, parking, weather conditions, and personal security.
• Experience making local deliveries for restaurants, stores, offices, or logistics companies.
• Enjoys being on the move, working outdoors, and managing tasks independently.
