Description:
We’re looking for a Medical Laboratory Technician trainee who’s ready to start a meaningful career by learning how real lab work impacts real lives. You’ll handle patient specimens with care, consistency, and full awareness of the responsibility in your hands. You’ll be trained in how to handle biological samples with care, label them correctly, and avoid the small mistakes that can make a big difference. You’ll learn how to operate key lab equipment step-by-step — centrifuges, pipettes, analyzers — and understand what they do, not just how to push the buttons. You’ll follow protocols to the letter, calibrate equipment daily, and document results with clinical discipline. You’ll help doctors make decisions, not by guessing — but by delivering data that’s accurate and timely. You’ll check your work twice, catch what others miss, and raise a hand when something feels off. You’ll get familiar with the importance of timing, temperature, labeling, documentation, and how small lapses can delay big decisions. You’ll juggle routine tests and critical requests while keeping contamination risks close to zero. Whether you’re running panels, preparing slides, or logging results, you’ll bring the same focus to every task.
Basic Qualifications:
- Handle emergency or STAT samples with urgency, prioritizing workflow to meet clinical needs in time-sensitive situations.
- Ensure all documentation is completed clearly and accurately for regulatory compliance and patient safety.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment including microscopes, centrifuges, analyzers, and spectrophotometers to ensure accurate test results.
- Perform quality control procedures and calibrations to maintain equipment accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with medical technologists, pathologists, and clinicians to clarify test orders, discuss abnormalities, or retest when needed.
Preferred:
- Follows strict protocols for specimen labeling, preparation, and storage to ensure test validity.
- Can assist in quality control checks and recognize deviations that may affect results.
- Able to calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab instruments according to schedules.
- Familiar with common clinical terminology, units of measurement, and normal value ranges.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures, safety protocols, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Benefits:
- We maintain strict safety protocols, consistent scheduling, and real-time communication — your time and health matter.
- Structured shifts that respect your focus and minimize distractions — because precision needs peace.
- We believe lab work is essential, not invisible — and we treat our technicians like the professionals they are.
- Work in a modern, well-equipped lab where your accuracy directly supports diagnostics and patient care.
- You’ll finish each shift knowing something important was done well, even if no one else saw it happen.
You’ll juggle repetition and responsibility without losing patience or letting things slide. You’ll document with clarity, report with accuracy, and know that lives depend on the numbers you enter. You’ll contribute to internal quality control programs and help your lab stay audit-ready at all times. You’ll grow into someone who others can count on — the one who quietly makes sure nothing is missed, spilled, mislabeled, or left incomplete. Supervisors will provide structured feedback, and your progress will be reviewed against clearly defined technical competencies. You may start by shadowing, assisting, and checking boxes — but with time, you’ll own your space and know you earned it. You’ll develop a foundational understanding of medical diagnostics — not from theory, but from applied practice and precision. You’ll begin as an observer, but you’re expected to grow into a contributor — someone trusted to perform basic procedures to protocol. If you’re ready to build serious technical habits, work under strict standards, and grow in a professional medical lab setting — we’re ready to train you properly.
