Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support the food and beverage operations in our hotel — perfect for someone who takes cleanliness seriously and thrives in a team-driven, guest-focused environment. You’ll work at weddings, conferences, private parties, and outdoor events, ensuring all kitchenware and service items are cleaned and ready for use. You’ll ensure every item is sanitized, dried, and restocked to the appropriate station for use during busy service hours. You’ll help clean kitchen equipment, counters, shelves, and floors as part of daily closing routines. You’ll help maintain sanitary standards by cleaning surfaces, mopping floors, and organizing storage areas each shift. You’ll collect dirty trays from return stations, stacking and sorting them for safe and efficient washing. You’ll assist with end-of-day cleanup, including sweeping, wiping equipment, emptying trash, and removing food waste. You’ll communicate clearly with chefs, servers, and stewards to prioritize items during peak hours or events. You’ll be trained to operate mobile dish machines, water heaters, and sanitizers specific to field service.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay flexible and ready to jump into side tasks like polishing silverware or rolling napkins.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude—even during high-pressure rushes.
• Be reliable and punctual—your role is essential to the kitchen’s flow and cleanliness.
• Follow restaurant health and safety standards at all times, including wearing proper footwear.
• Respect food waste handling rules and dispose of leftover food according to kitchen policies.

Preferred:

• Capable of restocking clean items to appropriate stations and notifying staff of shortages.
• Organized in sorting dishes, utensils, and kitchenware by type and material for efficient cleaning and drying.
• Comfortable following sanitation procedures and using appropriate cleaning chemicals safely.
• Willing to notify staff of broken items, clogs, or machine issues promptly.
• Thrives in fast-paced, organized environments where cleanliness and teamwork are key.

You’ll be expected to stay on your feet, lift heavy racks or containers, and move quickly in a warm, humid environment. You’ll maintain a clean uniform and follow basic appearance guidelines as a representative of the kitchen staff. You’ll assist in prepping or portioning cold items occasionally during slower dish periods. You’ll rotate between tasks to avoid burnout and maintain energy through repetitive work. You’ll rotate shifts that may include early breakfast prep, weekend events, or evening banquets.
