Description:

We’re looking for an Instagram Reels Editor who lives and breathes short-form content. This isn’t about just throwing together clips — it’s about curating, editing, and crafting content that resonates with Instagram’s audience. You’ll be responsible for producing Reels that not only grab attention but also keep it — from the very first frame to the last. If you have an eye for trends and know how to tweak your content to stay relevant, you’ll be a perfect fit for this role. You should have a deep understanding of what works on Instagram and know how to capitalize on trending audio, effects, and challenges. We need someone who can work quickly, edit on the fly, and still produce high-quality content that feels both polished and authentic.

Basic Qualifications:

• Source and sync royalty-free or trending audio that enhances the content's emotional impact.
• Keep files organized by project and version for easy updates and archiving.
• Repurpose content from longer videos (YouTube, TikTok) into digestible Reels without losing meaning.
• Color-grade, caption, and format videos so they look polished while still feeling native to Instagram.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and animators when additional visuals or overlays are needed.

Preferred:

• Able to format content properly for mobile-first consumption and high-quality output.
• Knows how to use text overlays, captions, and effects to enhance viewer retention.
• Able to repurpose existing content into compelling Reels with a fresh twist.
• Experience editing short-form vertical videos for Instagram or similar platforms.
• Proficient in using mobile or desktop editing tools like CapCut, VN, Adobe Premiere Pro.
