Description:

We’re looking for a Junior QA Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. You’ll be responsible for executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that the product works as expected before release. You’ll assist in creating and maintaining detailed test plans, ensuring all features are thoroughly tested across different devices and platforms. You’ll perform a variety of tests, including functional, regression, and system integration, to ensure software performance. You’ll perform functional, regression, and smoke tests to ensure that the software works as expected in different environments. You’ll report defects and work with the team to prioritize and address issues, ensuring quick resolutions. You’ll test both front-end and back-end functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience across the platform. You’ll participate in sprint meetings, providing feedback on product features and sharing insights on possible testing risks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Run regression tests during sprints and after deployments to ensure existing functionality isn’t broken.
• Stay organized in your workflow—track what’s been tested, what’s pending, and what needs retesting after changes.
• Assist in writing simple automated tests (if you’re learning tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright).
• Learn how to test for accessibility, performance, and mobile behavior—QA goes beyond "does it work?"
• Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand features and verify that they meet specifications.

Preferred:

• Comfortable asking questions and raising concerns when something seems off.
• Excited to be part of a team that ensures quality at every step of development.
• Willing to learn about test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience using tools like Jira, TestRail, or Trello to log and track issues.
