Description:

We’re hiring a Dental Assistant who brings more than just clinical skill — you bring heart, presence, and trust to every patient interaction. You’ll be the calming presence that helps patients feel at ease the moment they sit in the chair. From preparing treatment rooms to handing instruments during procedures, you’ll be an extra set of skilled hands for the dentist. You know how to handle suction, X-rays, and charting — and still have time for a reassuring word. You’ll know what’s needed before anyone has to ask, because your intuition is practically psychic. You’ll calm nervous patients, support the dentist, and make the whole process feel easier for everyone. You’ll track procedures, update charts, and keep meticulous records that make follow-up smooth and accurate. You’ll sanitize equipment like it’s second nature — because it is. You’ll explain things in plain language, because “occlusal composite” sounds way cooler as “tiny tooth repair.

Basic Qualifications:

• Disinfect and organize dental tools, equipment, and operatories in accordance with OSHA and infection control protocols.
• Help maintain dental equipment such as autoclaves, suction systems, curing lights, and chairs—reporting malfunctions promptly.
• Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene, procedure aftercare, or follow-up appointments.
• Assist with patient charting during exams—recording observations, noting areas of concern, and capturing dentist’s recommendations.
• Take intraoral photos and assist in digital scanning when required for treatment planning or case documentation.

Preferred:

• Can calmly manage situations involving anxious patients, children, or medical emergencies.
• Understands how to take and process X-rays following safety regulations.
• Comfortable explaining post-treatment care to patients in a calm and supportive manner.
• Familiar with dental terminology and able to record patient information accurately in charts or software.
• Familiar with OSHA and HIPAA regulations and follows them consistently.
