Description:

We’re looking for a Manual QA Tester who’s not afraid to click every button twice, think like a user, and ask, “What if someone tries this? ” — someone who sees quality as a team responsibility and takes pride in catching bugs early. You’ll work closely with developers, designers, and product managers to understand how things are *supposed* to work — then test what actually happens. You’ll report bugs with precision: what happened, where, how often, and why it matters — so developers can fix quickly and clearly. You’ll review product requirements and ask the right questions before development even begins. We’ll rely on you to verify bug fixes, ensure regressions haven’t occurred, and confirm that features meet expectations. You’ll maintain a healthy list of test scenarios and update them as features evolve. You’ll assist in updating test documentation and flag outdated cases that no longer reflect the product accurately. You’ll verify fixed issues, retest features after changes, and keep regression from creeping into stable builds. You’ll assist in exploratory testing, negative testing, and usability checks to provide full-spectrum quality feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work closely with developers, designers, and PMs to catch issues early in the build cycle.
• Re-test failed scenarios and edge cases after every deployment or release.
• Balance precision with speed when release days require fast smoke tests.
• Work with tools like Jira, TestRail, ClickUp, or spreadsheets to manage your QA workflow.
• Understand the product deeply so you can think like a real user, not just a checklist robot.

Preferred:

• Can test across multiple environments (staging, production, sandbox) with proper attention to data handling.
• Familiar with bug tracking workflows, severity/prioritization categories, and QA best practices.
• Familiar with creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements.
• Thrives in fast-paced, iterative teams that ship frequently and improve continuously.
• Pays attention to UI/UX details, layout consistency, and basic functionality during exploratory testing.
