We’re offering a Sales Assistant Traineeship for someone who’s ready to step into the world of retail — no prior experience needed, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a people-first mindset. You’ll be introduced to the basics of customer interaction, learning how to greet shoppers, offer assistance, and make every visitor feel welcome. You’ll observe how experienced staff handle everything from product recommendations to checkout procedures. You’ll learn how to restock shelves, tidy displays, and make sure everything is clean, organized, and easy to find. You’ll be taught how to listen actively, read customer needs, and offer recommendations that genuinely help — not just sell. You’ll help keep the store clean, welcoming, and fully stocked throughout the day. You’ll gain insight into inventory basics — such as restocking, tagging, and keeping count of popular items. You’ll be part of team briefings, gaining insight into promotions, sales goals, and seasonal retail strategies. You’ll learn how to prioritize during busy periods and how to stay productive during quiet ones.

Basic Qualifications:

• Answer questions about products, promotions, or return policies with confidence and clarity.
• Support other departments as needed, especially during busy seasons.
• Stay positive and energetic, even during slow periods or tough shifts.
• Make every shopper feel welcome—whether they’re browsing or buying big.
• Help unpack and organize new stock deliveries in a timely and accurate manner.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in retail, fashion, electronics, home goods, or specialty sales.
• Familiar with basic store operations, opening/closing checklists, and shift handovers.
• Willing to follow store security procedures and assist with loss prevention efforts.
• Able to multitask during busy periods, especially weekends or sales events.
• Values customer satisfaction, teamwork, and efficiency in day-to-day tasks.
