Whether it’s a 2,000-word guide, a thought-provoking opinion piece, or a quick how-to article, your work reads like it was written by someone who actually enjoys writing (because you do). You’ll work independently but collaborate when needed, asking smart questions and bringing ideas to the table. You know how to structure your writing with clarity: compelling intros, strong subheads, smooth transitions, and satisfying conclusions. Whether it’s breaking down complex topics into easy steps or writing thought leadership pieces that sound smart but not pretentious, you’ve got range. You’ll be responsible for turning in clean, SEO-friendly copy on deadline, with internal links, smart formatting, and a strong sense of flow.

Basic Qualifications:

• Keep an organized archive of drafts, revisions, and published links for easy reference.
• Write headlines that are both SEO-friendly and clickable without resorting to clickbait.
• Edit your own work with a critical eye—grammar, flow, structure, and accuracy should all be tight before submission.
• Respect client confidentiality and follow brand guidelines, style guides, and tone requirements.
• Optimize posts for readability and SEO—using proper headings, meta descriptions, internal links, and keywords.

Preferred:

• Understands the difference between informative, persuasive, and storytelling content.
• Pays attention to formatting details, readability, and mobile-friendly structure.
• Able to manage deadlines independently and deliver content consistently.
• Enjoys learning about new topics and simplifying them for a broad audience.
• Can write blog posts ranging from 600 to 2,000+ words depending on project needs.
