Description:

We’re looking for a Pharmacist who’s equal parts science nerd, people person, and cool under pressure. You’ll be the bridge between the doctor’s diagnosis and the patient’s understanding. You’ll make sure every medication is safe, appropriate, and explained in a way that actually makes sense. You’ll counsel patients with clarity, helping them understand their treatments and how to take them safely. Whether someone is picking up antibiotics or starting long-term treatment, you’ll guide them with care and calm. You’ll review charts, follow protocols, and never cut corners — because safety always comes first. You’ll handle controlled substances with integrity and attention to every decimal and timestamp. You’ll stay on top of new medications and treatment guidelines, because healthcare never stops evolving — and neither do you. You’ll manage controlled substances with discipline and documentation that would make any auditor proud.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay compliant with licensing requirements and continuing education to maintain credentials and professional knowledge.
• Monitor inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and supplies, placing orders and managing stock to avoid shortages or expirations.
• Ultimately, protect patient health by ensuring medications are dispensed safely, used appropriately, and understood clearly.
• Stay informed about new drugs, generics, recalls, and medical research to offer accurate and current pharmaceutical guidance.
• Maintain up-to-date records of dispensed medications, patient interactions, and adverse drug reactions using pharmacy management systems.

Preferred:

• Able to collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions or recommend alternatives.
• Organized with recordkeeping, audit preparation, and regulatory compliance checks.
• Willing to support wellness initiatives, medication therapy management (MTM), or chronic care programs.
• Familiar with over-the-counter (OTC) recommendations and guiding customer choices appropriately.
• Thrives in detail-focused, ethical, and team-driven healthcare settings.
