Description:

We’re looking for a Courier Intern who’s ready to navigate the city with confidence, delivering small packages on foot, bike, or scooter with speed and care. You’ll assist in delivering small packages, contracts, and documents across corporate offices, coworking spaces, and government buildings. You’ll assist with picking up packages, checking addresses, and verifying delivery details before heading out. You’ll be trained to handle sensitive cargo like business documents, electronics, medical supplies, or legal materials. You’ll learn how to communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and recipients when delays or changes occur. You’ll gain experience navigating busy city centers while staying calm, focused, and presentable. You’ll receive safety training related to traffic laws, secure packaging, and lifting techniques to avoid injury. You’ll gain experience in highway navigation, border procedures (if applicable), and drop-off protocols in unfamiliar cities. You’ll gain experience in handling fragile, urgent, or sensitive deliveries with extra care and attention.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use handheld devices or apps to track deliveries and update job statuses in real time.
• Be punctual, reliable, and ready to work independently for long periods of time.
• Follow local traffic laws, parking regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
• Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers or recipients.
• Keep delivery logs updated and submit paperwork or electronic forms at the end of each shift.

Preferred:

• Can communicate professionally with dispatchers, clients, or coworkers during the delivery process.
• Values punctuality, responsibility, and efficiency when handling each delivery.
• Wants to grow into roles like Dispatcher, Fleet Coordinator, or Route Manager.
• Enjoys being on the move, working outdoors, and managing tasks independently.
• Comfortable following delivery protocols, including signatures, ID verification, or contactless drop-offs.
