Description:

We’re hiring an Architect Trainee who’s excited to bring ideas to life through structure, space, and purpose — no experience required, just a drive to learn and a love for thoughtful design. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll teach you how to think in both 2D and 3D, and how to turn spatial concepts into practical, buildable designs. You’ll work closely with senior architects to understand how every line on a plan has meaning, function, and consequence. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. You’ll help gather site data, take measurements, and understand how physical constraints shape design decisions. We’ll show you how to evaluate lighting, circulation, and functionality in each design iteration. You’ll support research on materials, regulations, and sustainable building practices. You’ll help research local codes, green building standards, and accessibility requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Balance innovation with constraints like cost, space, and environmental impact.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate progress and ensure design specifications are being followed.
• Design with sustainability in mind: passive lighting, green materials, and efficient layouts.
• Adapt your communication style for clients, builders, and city officials alike.
• Develop schematic designs and refine them into construction-ready documents with full technical specs.

Preferred:

• Able to participate in all design phases — from schematic to construction administration.
• Knows how to prepare and revise technical documentation to comply with regulations and stakeholder feedback.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Architect, Design Director, or Urban Strategist.
• Willing to take part in design competitions, exhibitions, or research-based initiatives.
• Proficient in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD.
