Description:

We’re hiring a Clinical Psychologist Trainee who’s ready to explore the therapeutic process from the inside — no previous experience required, just empathy, professionalism, and a deep interest in mental health. You’ll assist in preparing case summaries, organizing patient files, and reviewing psychological literature relevant to active cases. We’ll teach you how to observe therapeutic sessions with clinical intent — noting not just what’s said, but how it’s said. You’ll learn how to document progress, track behavioral patterns, and participate in debriefs with licensed psychologists. Expect to be involved in both individual and group therapy contexts, depending on your supervisor and placement. You’ll gain exposure to a range of cases — from mild anxiety to complex trauma — and learn how each requires a unique approach. You’ll support the preparation of worksheets, feedback forms, and emotional regulation exercises used in sessions. You’ll sit in on supervised sessions (where appropriate) and participate in debriefings with the clinical team. You’ll also observe how different populations — adults, teens, children — require different therapeutic strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Supervise interns or junior clinicians if licensed and experienced.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff to ensure holistic care.
• Be mindful of insurance, billing, and documentation for clients using healthcare plans.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.

Preferred:

• Can maintain accurate records for case reviews, insurance compliance, or research purposes.
• Capable of handling emotional intensity and crisis situations with calm and clinical judgment.
• Able to adapt therapy methods based on individual client needs and responsiveness.
• Comfortable working with individuals, couples, or groups across various age ranges and backgrounds.
• Pays close attention to nonverbal cues, patterns of thought, and behavioral changes during the treatment process.
