Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Film Director who can lead bold visual storytelling with intention, precision, and heart — someone who thrives at the intersection of vision and execution. You’ll lead the creative process from script to screen, shaping tone, visual language, and emotional rhythm throughout production. We expect you to collaborate fluidly with writers, cinematographers, art directors, and editors throughout the production pipeline. On set, you’ll guide actors with empathy and clarity, helping them uncover the emotional truth of each moment. You’ll design scenes with a sharp eye for blocking, movement, and camera language that enhances the emotional core of each moment. We’re looking for someone who can make bold aesthetic choices while staying grounded in human connection. We’ll rely on your ability to inspire trust, lead with confidence, and adapt quickly when production challenges arise. On set, you’ll lead with clarity and calm, navigating the realities of tight schedules without compromising creative intent. You’ll oversee post-production from assembly through grading and final sound mix, sculpting the final arc scene by scene.

Basic Qualifications:

• Handle conflicts on set diplomatically and keep the project moving forward.
• Work under pressure while juggling multiple creative, technical, and interpersonal demands.
• Ensure the film stays true to its core themes, message, and emotional arc.
• Attend test screenings and incorporate audience feedback when appropriate.
• Review and approve shot lists, storyboards, and schedules before each production day.

Preferred:

• Willing to collaborate with writers, producers, and creative teams from concept to final cut.
• Comfortable pitching concepts, securing funding, or working within client or studio guidelines.
• Familiar with working under budget constraints while maintaining creative integrity.
• Experience directing short films, commercials, music videos, or narrative projects from pre-production to post.
• Able to translate scripts and storyboards into visual scenes with emotional impact and technical precision.
