Description:

We’re looking for a reliable and efficient Online Job Application Assistant to help clients navigate the job application process. You’ll help job seekers find the best opportunities by identifying and recommending job listings that match their skills and goals. You’ll assist in crafting tailored resumes and cover letters that stand out and match each job description perfectly. You’ll track applications, remind clients of follow-up dates, and keep them on track with deadlines. You’ll track application statuses, manage timelines, and send reminders for follow-ups and deadlines. You’ll research companies and roles to help candidates understand the job market and what each opportunity entails. You’ll provide feedback and suggestions for improving application materials to maximize chances of landing an interview. You’ll also help job seekers prepare for interviews, offering tips and strategies for success. You’ll ensure clients’ applications are error-free and tailored to each job description, enhancing their chances of getting an interview.

Basic Qualifications:

• Set realistic daily/weekly goals for job applications based on the client’s availability and target timeline.
• Act as a support system during a stressful process—you're not just pushing buttons, you're helping someone get hired.
• Respect client confidentiality—treat all resumes, job info, and login credentials with care and discretion.
• Stay familiar with ATS-friendly formatting and help ensure resumes make it past screening bots.
• Assist in crafting short personalized messages to recruiters or hiring managers to increase response rates.

Preferred:

• Understands the emotional side of job searching and offers encouragement professionally.
• Willing to research company backgrounds and help tailor responses accordingly.
• Experience helping others apply for jobs online, including resume uploads and form completion.
• Able to adjust tone and messaging for different industries, roles, or seniority levels.
• Familiar with job boards like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and niche hiring platforms.

You’ll track the status of applications, monitor job board activity, and report to clients on progress. You’ll help clients prepare for interviews by providing tips, mock questions, and feedback on their responses. You’ll research and recommend job boards, career sites, and platforms that best match the client’s skill set and career goals. You’ll be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date log of all job applications, feedback, and responses from employers. You’ll keep a detailed log of all applications, including notes on responses, feedback, and next steps for each client. This remote role gives you the flexibility to manage your own time while directly impacting job seekers’ success.
