Description:

We’re seeking an Architect Trainee who dreams of designing spaces that are not only beautiful, but purposeful — no prior experience required, just a strong design sense and eagerness to learn. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll teach you how to think in both 2D and 3D, and how to turn spatial concepts into practical, buildable designs. You’ll work closely with senior architects to understand how every line on a plan has meaning, function, and consequence. You’ll help with producing project documents, zoning research, and reference boards for internal and client presentations. You’ll be part of internal reviews where projects are shaped through discussion, iteration, and creative tension. We’ll guide you through the basics of model-making, detailing, and material selection. You’ll explore how light, form, and circulation impact human experience within the built environment. You’ll contribute to documentation for planning applications, code compliance, and sustainable certifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• Present concepts to stakeholders with clarity, whether it’s a sketch or a full 3D walkthrough.
• Ensure architectural integrity and coherence across all project elements and disciplines.
• Manage timelines, documentation, and client communications to keep projects on track.
• Design functional, aesthetic, and sustainable structures that meet client goals and regulatory codes.
• Reflect on past designs to improve future work—every project is a teacher.

Preferred:

• Familiar with zoning laws, permitting processes, and sustainable building practices.
• Keeps up with architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability standards like LEED or BREEAM.
• Organized with project timelines, drawing sets, and design development workflows.
• Experience developing concept designs, construction drawings, and detailed architectural documentation.
• Proficient in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD.
