Description:

We’re hiring a talented and creative Video Editor to join our remote team and produce high-impact videos for various platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing video footage, adding effects, and creating final videos that capture the brand’s message and tone. You’ll collaborate with the content team to understand project requirements and bring their vision to life through high-quality video production. You’ll work on a wide range of video projects, including promotional content, brand storytelling, and social media videos. You’ll ensure the video content is engaging, visually compelling, and optimized for each platform, from YouTube to Instagram and beyond. You’ll help incorporate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance the quality of the video and the viewer’s experience. You’ll help create motion graphics, animations, and special effects to add creativity and visual interest to the videos. You’ll manage the video editing process from start to finish, ensuring smooth transitions, color correction, and audio balancing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for YouTube, social media, ads, and product explainers—aligned with brand tone and audience.
• Color-correct, audio-balance, and export videos in platform-specific formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).
• Manage multiple projects at once while maintaining quality, speed, and creative energy.
• Make every frame count—editing is invisible when it’s great, and unforgettable when it’s brilliant.
• Provide rough cuts, versions, and final renders with clear communication on what’s included and what needs review.

Preferred:

• Able to take initiative and suggest creative improvements to enhance video impact.
• Comfortable working with vertical and horizontal formats across multiple platforms.
• Can follow brand guidelines and adapt editing style to fit tone and audience.
• Understands the importance of hooks, retention, and first-3-second engagement on social platforms.
• Open to feedback and quick to revise based on direction or creative briefs.

You’ll stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production and editing software to keep the content fresh and innovative. You’ll create and edit video content for a variety of formats, including ads, explainer videos, and social media posts. You’ll be part of an agile team, adapting quickly to project needs and working efficiently in a remote environment.
